Xinmiao Visiting Scholar Program International Cardiovascular Specialist Training Program Visits jMedtech

On August 23, 2026, jMedtech welcomed a special group of visitors—14 international physicians from 10 countries, including Nepal, Rwanda, Pakistan, Tanzania, Lesotho, Mozambique, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Laos, and Ethiopia. They are participants of the "Xinmiao Visiting Scholar Program — International Cardiovascular Specialist Training Program." Their visit to jMedtech was aimed at gaining firsthand insight into the R&D and manufacturing of medical devices in China.

From the Clinic to the Workshop: A Catheter’s Journey from Upstream to Downstream

At jMedtech, the scholars visited the product showroom and observed the production workshop along the visitor corridor, gaining an understanding of the medical precision tubing manufacturing process, followed by a discussion with the Chinese team in the conference room. A jMedtech project manager guided the tour of the showroom and workshop viewing area, while an application engineer presented an overview of the company. The two sides engaged in an interactive Q&A on device technology applications and clinical needs. For these clinicians from different countries, stepping into the frontline of medical device manufacturing was a valuable complement—from "using devices" to "understanding the industry."

Cultivating Hearts as Seedlings, Building a Health Community Together

The time for a single visit is limited, but the seeds of friendship it has sown are growing. The name "Xinmiao" (heart seedling) symbolizes that every participant is a young shoot, drawing nourishment in Xiamen before taking root, branching out, and flourishing in their respective countries. Today, these seedlings are thriving, and they will continue to write the story of international medical exchange and cooperation.
